Founder's Journey

From Finance Professional to Full-Time Educator

My journey in the financial markets began over 15 years ago, starting with traditional finance education and progressing through hands-on experience in trading and investing across multiple market cycles.

After completing my CA Inter from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and B.Com (Hons) from Calcutta University, I worked in corporate finance before transitioning to full-time trading and investing. This experience taught me that successful market participation requires more than just academic knowledge—it demands practical skills, emotional discipline, and continuous learning.

The turning point came when I realized that most retail traders and investors were approaching markets with incomplete knowledge, often relying on tips and rumors rather than developing their own analytical capabilities. This led to the creation of Trade O Invest—a platform dedicated to bridging the knowledge gap with practical, principle-based education.

Today, my mission is to empower traders and investors with the skills and mindset needed to navigate markets independently, responsibly, and successfully.

As a NISM Certified Research Analyst (SEBI recognized), I analyze markets with a balanced blend of fundamental and technical analysis—what we call the "Techno-Funda" approach. This methodology helps identify opportunities where price action aligns with business fundamentals.

My educational background includes CA Inter from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and B.Com (Hons) from Calcutta University. This formal training in accounting, finance, and business analysis forms the foundation of my fundamental analysis approach.
